Sometimes I think I should have been a juggler instead of a hooper! There are so many great events on the calendar to tell you about, including lots of opportunities to get out there and mingle with other local hoopers!
First, the $10 off hoop sale continues until the end of February – this applies to all in-stock standard adult hoops and infinity-style collapsible hoops. Local shoppers can contact me to set up an appointment to stop by and have a look, or they can visit the Tuesday night or Saturday afternoon classes at the Bosco gym, where I’ll have a selection with me. (Also, performance tubing is back in stock for hoopers looking to get their lighter 1/2″ hoop fix!)
Next up, we’ve got Hoop Path with Baxter on March 1 to 3. It’s looking like this year’s event is going to sell out, so if you’ve been on the fence about going, it’s time to jump off and join us! Hoop Path workshops have been described by many other hoopers as hugely transformative and a big level up in their hoopdance, and I personally give the Hoop Path experience six stars out of five.
On March 5, the newest series of Hooping Basics and Beyond the Basics starts up again at the Bosco gym. We’ve had such a great time this winter with big busy classes and tons of happy faces. Remember that both of these classes are drop-in friendly, so if you aren’t able to commit to a whole series, you can come and hoop with us whenever you’ve got the time!
On March 15, it’s time to shake the winter dust off of your festival costume box and dip into the glitter for Shall We Hoop? Nina Infinity and I are excited to present this intimate evening of costumes and community, and we’re really excited that SaFire will be joining us for a trunk sale with the newest creations from her Cirquelle line of clothing. We’ll have a photo booth set up to capture snaps of you in your sparkly finest. And – all attendees will be entered to win a weekend pass to SpinMilk 3!
And of course, on April 20 & 21, it’s time for our third annual prop, performance and flow festival: SpinMilk 3. We’re assembling a team of talented prop spinners, dancers, and music makers for this year’s event and introducing a number of new workshops that we’ve never offered before. Remember to grab your earlybird tickets before the end of February and save $! You can do this online or in person at one of my classes, or send me a message to make arrangements.
If you have questions about any of these events, feel free to contact me by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org!
