SpinMilk is a weekend event packed with a variety of movement workshops that will advance your skills, expose you to new ones, and provides the opportunity to meet other awesome people in your community who love to spin too! The first SpinMilk was held in 2011, and SpinMilk 2% dished up even more fun in 2012. That can only mean a third sequel will be around the corner in 2013!

Prop Rock was Edmonton’s first prop manipulation event showcasing the talent of several local and international artists, designed to bring the Edmonton prop community together for a night of inspiring performances and inspired dancing afterwards! Held on November 12, 2011 at the Avenue Theatre, the event was a resounding success and because of that, a Prop Rock 2 was a must!
Prop Rock 2 took place on Friday, May 25, once again at the Avenue Theatre, and once again, local and international performers lit up the stage with their talents, and the Edmonton prop community came together on the dance floor with another epic prop jam.
World Hoop Day is the hula hoop holiday celebrating hoops around the world. Events are held in cities around the world every year, in numerical sequence starting from 2007-0707 and continuing through to this year’s 2012-12-12, for hoopers to celebrate and to raise money and hoop donations for those who can’t afford them.
Flowlab has been an organizer and host of the past 3 Edmonton World Hoop Day events held in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Plans are in the works for this year’s World Hoop Day on 12-12-12, in partnership with Infinity Hoopdance, so stay tuned!
