This past Saturday, Flowlab hosted a party to say thank you to all of our friends and supporters for being so incredibly awesome this year, and to celebrate the creative, talented people we have had the pleasure of working and playing with in 2012. Dubbed the Swaggerpants Circus (and I think you can guess the theme based on the name), the night was packed with laughter, silliness, and a midnight showdown on the dancefloor by some of Edmonton’s finest prop spinners, as well as a guest appearance by the mind-melting Noah Weigel (who you may remember from his show-stealing performance at Prop Rock back in November 2011).
During the showdown and several other times that night, I looked around the room at the packed dance floor, crazy costumes, spinning props and smiling faces, and it was quite clear to see that Edmonton is home to some absolutely incredible and talented and fun-loving people, and to be in their company is an honour. So much love for you all!
Music was provided by Tripnotic, Zak Attack, and HumenNature, and the dance floor was pretty much packed from start to finish. We played and danced late into the night, hamming it up in the circus-themed photo booth and creating memories that will keep us giggling for weeks to come.
All 3 of our wonderful DJs recorded their sets and have posted them on Soundcloud, making it easy to relive this magical night. Download and dance!
