Being a hooper means sharing what you know.

I love the hoop community and I love being a part of it.  I offer local classes and workshops in the Edmonton area, perform with the group FlowScience, and I love to hang out at community spin sessions with other hoopers.

What can I expect from a hoop class?

Hoopdance is a high-energy cardiovascular workout, combining the elements of dance and fitness, to tone your body and energize your mind.  Using an “adult” hoop that is larger and heavier than the toy store hoops that most are familiar with, hoopdance is a fun and creative way to build your core strength, boost your cardiovascular endurance, and sculpt your thighs, buttocks and arms.   The benefits don’t stop there – hoopdance also quiets the mind, improves your self-confidence, and opens up your own creative self-expression.

How do I register for a hoop class?

You can visit either the beginner or intermediate hoop class page and register with the Paypal button, or email me through the contact page to make arrangements to pay in person on or before the first day of class.

Who can come to a hoop class?

Hooping is for everyone!  You don’t need any previous experience – just your enthusiasm!

Do I need to bring a hoop?

Don’t worry if you don’t have your own hoop! Practice hoops are provided for use in class, and are available for sale as well.
